I recently stayed at this hotel while attending a funeral. The rooms were spacious and clean, with comfortable beds for a good night's sleep. The staff were friendly, though there were some issues with the organization regarding room payments. I didn’t try the food, but it looked decent. The outside areas could use some maintenance, but overall, I had a pleasant experience and would return if needed.

My stay was quite mixed. While the location was spot on for exploring Wells, and I found the room clean and comfortable, my experience with the staff was unfortunate due to one rude encounter. The room was clean and comfortable, though I found it a bit stuffy as the window couldn't be opened. The location was ideal for exploring Wells, being just a short and pleasant walk to the city center. Dining was a highlight with delicious food, although I hope they can improve their kitchen timing.
